Arriving by boat in glamorous Saint-Tropez, we take time to explore its fashionable vibe before heading to Arles in the afternoon. In Arles, we visit the ancient Roman theatre and arena, once the site of fierce gladiatorial battles and chariot races. A guided tour follows in the footsteps of Vincent van Gogh, who created over 300 artworks here. Next, we travel to the Camargue, Western Europe’s largest river delta, for a local "Be My Guest" experience featuring home-cooked regional dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. Finally, we journey to Avignon for a two-night stay.

This morning, we visit the remarkable Pont du Gard, an ancient Roman aqueduct bridge crossing the river Gardon, built in the 1st century AD to supply water to Nîmes. In Avignon, we explore its historic Old Town, once the seat of the Papacy. Our orientation of the city includes views of the impressive Palace of the Popes and the iconic, partially ruined bridge over the Rhône, famously featured in the French song Sur le Pont d'Avignon.

Travelling through the scenic French countryside, we take the high-speed TGV train from Burgundy to Paris, passing Auxerre and the region's famous vineyards. In the evening, enjoy a Farewell Dinner at Maison Plisson, featuring market-fresh, seasonal dishes.
